  • Event Crew Member (Part-Time)
    Studio Festive is currently hiring crew members for part-time event setup positions within the Tampa Bay event industry to assist our team in executing beautiful weddings, social, and corporate events! **MUST have own transportation and be generally available on WEEKENDS (all event dates will be scheduled in advance and assigned within team member's availability).** WHO YOU ARE You must be reliable, punctual, professional, motivated, able to take initiative, and be a team player. You should be able to lift approximately 30-50 lbs when necessary, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to quickly and easily switch gears when circumstances change. Our ideal candidate is service-oriented and aims to provide our clients and industry partners with an impeccable customer experience. JOB OVERVIEW Studio Festive crew team members at our Tampa warehouse will prepare and load rental inventory -- such as tables, chairs, etc -- into our delivery truck(s), and unload/setup that inventory at wedding or event venues / locations with regard to provided floorplans and/or the event planner or client's on-site direction. You will be working within a team of other event crew members. This candidate is NOT required to drive the delivery truck(s). HOURS Typical event days for this position consist of Saturday or Sunday pre-event between 9AM to 3PM AND/OR post-event from 9PM to 1AM (generally, this position will only rarely consist of work between the hours of 3PM-9PM). On average, this position could require anywhere from 10-15 hours per week depending on our scheduled events, and opportunities may become available for additional hours pending your availability. All shifts and schedules are managed via an easy-to-use mobile app. LOCAL TRAVEL Same-day local travel to event locations within Tampa Bay area counties will be required for setup or breakdown (depending on the needs of that specific event) and such travel time will be compensated accordingly. RELIABILITY Because clients, couples, and the partners we serve are depending on us to arrive in a timely fashion and be ready to provide the best level of service, there is truly no time for last-minute replacement and/or shift coverage changes on short notice for crew member(s). This is why it is necessary that all crew members have their own vehicle for on-time shift arrivals. We understand that emergencies may arise; however dependability, commitment, and punctuality are expected and appreciated! Our brand and team truly rely on each other in order to meet expectations and create successful outcomes on each and every event day. CONSIDERATIONS Generally, because this position and the event dates / hours available within it are currently part-time on Saturdays and / or Sundays, this position is a great fit for those looking for secondary income, current college students, or someone who is ready to break into the event industry. Please note that for certain events you may be working on a crew of 2, while on others you may be working on a crew of 6+ team members. SALARY Pay for this position is commesurate with experience and generally starts between $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. INTERESTED?
